Born on May 25, 1959, the youngest of nine siblings in an agricultural family, Dr. Benni dreamed of becoming a doctor to serve his village — but financial constraints led him to study Botany instead.
With just two other men, he founded CMSI in 1991 and has faithfully served over 35 villages for more than three decades.
After earning his Master's from Madras Christian College and studying Theology and Greek at the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Benni returned to South India with renewed purpose — devoting his life to holistic ministry.
Every gift supports Bible training, medical camps, children's education, women's empowerment, and disaster relief across South India.
